Sept 29th, 2020:
Team:
As we are moving closer to opening our gym we wanted to cover what we are doing to help prevent Covid exposure and spread. We have medical professionals on our team who are looking to make our gym a safe place while allowing people to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grow as individuals.
Firstly, we are going to have strict “no gray area” with anyone walking in with symptoms. If anyone presents here with any symptoms they will be asked to leave and return once they are 14 days symptom free. While we understand this may be undesirable for anyone who is excited to train we all must respect each other as training partners and keep each other safe.
Individuals are also more then welcome to wear face-masks while they train to help prevent their exposure. We can also help pair up individuals who are looking to have a sole partner to train with so while at the gym they will be only be exposed to one individual.
Finally, while cleaning has always been a priority of this sport we will ensure mats are clean and disinfected after every class. We want to ensure our students we are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe. We will keep our ears open for any additional recommendations as well as following trends in the county.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to us and we will discuss it with you.
Regards,
Christian & Ed
